Air-conditioning wasn't functioning properly. It was freezing in the bedrooms and sweltering in the living area no matter how we adjusted the settings. This resulted in poor sleep every night as we had to keep getting up and adjusting the temperature. We couldn't find any extra blankets anywhere. The smell of KFC from downstairs became a bit gross after a few days. The microwave didn't work at all – not even a power light. Lastly, we felt that some basic creature comforts were missing, such as the fact that there was a canister that said 'coffee pods' on it but it was completely empty. There was no milk in the fridge – not even little tetra pack single serves. No single-serve biscuits or hot chocolate sachets, no tissues.
