San Marco Rooms

The location is great with a market (not Ballaro, but in our opinion much nicer) just around the corner as well as several good food spots. It's a 20 minute walk to the train station and less to the Old Town. In the flat we enjoyed that there was a washing machine to use and a balcony to dry our clothes. In general there's everything you might need for a short or longer holiday in Palermo, such as a hair dryer, A/C unit, TV, kitchen with basic equipment (but we did not use it, as there's great food all around the flat) and a comfortable bed. Communication with the host was easy, uncomplicated, fast and in general very helpful whenever we had questions regarding the flat or when asking for recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and think it's very good value for the price.

It did not bother us and we think it's normal that there is noise when you stay in the middle of a city but beware that there's city sounds such as cars and motorbikes as well as chatting outside of the bedroom window late at night and early in the morning. We were slightly confused about the rubbish situation, as we only stayed a week and were not able to adhere to the rubbish separation schedule given to us. However, upon asking we were helped where we might be able to dispose of the trash nearby.

Valerio è un host eccellente, molto attento e disponibile a tutto, la casa e’ molto accogliente e centrale a tutto, molto pulita e ha tutti i servizi di una casa, soprattutto se siete una famiglia, cucina, lavatrice frigo, tutto top. Siamo state benissimo
