Arana Weligama

Decoracion simple pero elegante y acogedora. Habitacion bonita con grandes ventanales por donde ver el mar. Comida realmente muy buena tanto desayuno como cena.

Ruidosa ya que esta frente a la carretera y no hay insonorizacion. Soportable por ser temporada baja. Entra luz a pesar de las cortinas(te dan tapones y antifaz) Insistieron en fotografiar mi pasaporte a pesar de que le pedi que no lo hiciera. En otros sitios te registran los datos y no creo que tengamos que permitirlo (daekweb). Llamame loca !!!

The staff was 10/10. The area is perfect. Just 10 meters from the beach and the surfing area. Close to the road but no problem for us and they offer earplugs so this really wasnt a issue for us. The breakfest was super nice. You can choose freestyle from their menu and the view over the beach and ocean was super nice. Would recommend the hotel if your in weligama.

Stunning hotel! In a great location, close to everything with a super delicious and good breakfast. Full of high-class restaurants and across from the beach, if you want an amazing view at breakfast then you have come to the right place. The staff is very kind. In the evening the hotel also has a good restaurant with good prices and delicious and high-quality food. Because the hotel is on a main road there is some noise from the road, but they have earplugs

The room is a bit dark in the evening.

Directly opposite the beach and n e centre of Weligama bay, surrounded by cafes etc Rooftop restaurant was very good, well priced and tasty food and drinks Delicious breakfast - local omelette with green chilli was great Cold air conditioning Hot shower, clean bathroom Friendly staff

Lots of traffic noise being right on the main road (as most Weligama hotels are) Lots of loud music from within or adjacent businesses until 11pm or later Loud music from across the road from 6am every morning (tuk tuks or surfing schools?) Poor quality construction - condensation formed on windows, poor finishing around bathroom tiling, floors and walls are just painted concrete etc Curtains were thin, poor quality and did not fully cover windows so sunrise around 6am streamed in every morning Bed linen was inadequate, top sheet with just a thin bedspread that was too small for the bed, wrestled it all night OK for the price but I’d pay more and stay beachside down the east end of the beach if we visit again
