Host & Stay - The Cheeky Squirrel

The Cheeky Squirrel is such an adorable, lovely, warm, cosy, homely place to stay, and the back garden is beautiful, tranquil and very spacious too. The whole place is full of charm and unique character. It's also within about a 10 minute walking distance from all of the main attractions in New Brighton. We even got to hand-feed a cheeky squirrel who often visited the back garden! 10/10!

Not much could have been better, but a pair of kitchen scissors would have been handy. Also, the code for the WIFI was unclear in terms of upper and lower case letters, so we had to ring Host and Stay for clarification. But other than that everything was pretty much perfect 😊

The property & garden are wonderful Great location and our regular squirrel visitors are adorable 🥰 Would recommend this property 😄

Una casa muy bonita, con muchos detalles y un jardín estupendo. La casa estaba perfectamente limpia y con todo tipo de comodidades. Estábamos informados en todo momento por lo que llegamos sin problema. Además te envían una aplicación con toda la información sobre la casa, los alrededores y sugerencias para comer y moverte por la zona. Está en la zona de New Brighton, una zona tranquila donde pudimos relajarnos y pasear por la playa. Bien ubicada, con tren que lleva a directamente a Liverpool en poco tiempo. La casa se llama la ardilla traviesa porque por las mañana hay ardillas en el jardín. Son encantadoras y los propietarios te dejan un cuenco con cacahuetes para que les des de comer. Si vais con niños, les gustará. Nosotros hemos pasado unos días maravillosos. Gracias por hacernos sentir como en casa!

Todo estuvo perfecto.

Peaceful location. Lovely conservatory to relax and look at the attractive garden. Not too far to walk to the Promenade . Generally a nice homely feel.

No problems with the property. Maybe a pity that there were a few crossed wires with people at Host and Stay, a bit stressful, but all resolved satisfactorily. Always nice to be able to communicate directly with owners when possible too, although l appreciate that isn’t always convenient.
