White Room in Colombo Seven

Felt very at home here! Perfect place to stay in Colombo, it was clean and comfy and you have a whole mini apartment which we did not expect! The location is a bit further away from main tourist attractions but we quite like this as it felt much more peaceful here than in the main centre and there were some lovely coffee shops and stores close by. Host was also very responsive and friendly, even letting us keep our luggage there while we explored.

Rather than just being a room, this is a full apartment with a large bedroom and a separate living room. The bathroom was very clean and had a separate shower with a shower curtain. The A/C worked great and the location of the apartment is great as well. A grocery store is nearby and there is a small bakery nearby (to the right of the grocery) that had delicious sweets and iced tea. The caretaker was always around if you needed any help with anything. There is a small fridge, and an entrance area where you can use the microwave along with supplied dishes and flatware. I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Colombo.

I stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and had everything I needed, including air conditioning, a fridge, tableware, and towels. The host contacted me in advance and gave me many helpful suggestions, and the caretaker kindly showed me the room when I arrived. The location is in a nice and quiet area near a supermarket, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the Pettah area by bus. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet and comfortable place!!

We booked the room primarily for luggage storage and a place to freshen up with a shower before our 1.5‑day journey home, which we communicated to the hosts in advance. The room was spacious and very clean, and it suited our needs perfectly. We would absolutely stay here again if we needed an overnight room.
