Serenity stay Kizimkazi

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in unserem Apartment. Die Unterkunft liegt ein wenig versteckt, was es so schön ruhig und entspannt macht. Das Frühstück bereitet Suzy selbst und mit Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Anbau zu. Sie kümmert sich um alles und kann Transfers oder Rentals zu guten Preisen organisieren.

Beautiful place, it’s like a little oasis away from any sounds of cars or scooters and all you hear is the sounds of nature. We booked one night, but ended up staying 4 nights and was a wonderful peaceful and tranquil place to be. Was also fun to hear and see the monkeys nearby jumping in the trees wild and free as they should be. Also Susy is a very sweet, kind and friendly host!

I was very well received by Susie in her small but charming lodge lost in the bush. A haven of peace! Very good dinner near the brazier, drank very good juice & cocktail, had an excellent evening and slept in a beautiful typical and comfortable room. A superb experience that will remain an excellent memory!

What can I say... this place is a slice of authentic Zanzabarian heaven. Suzie is the most incredible and professional host with a genuine heart and care for her guests. We have made a point whilst in zanzibar to travel around the island whilst trying to stay on a moderate budget and can honestly say we wish we had found her sooner as we would have stayed much longer. Only a 15/20 minute walk to the secluded beach (we only came across 3 other tourists on our whole walk), food was bought, prepared and cooked fresh and you can taste it. This stay was not pretentious or fake, it was genuine and wholesome. To sleep we heard the most beautiful sounds of nature including many many bush babies with our door wide open because of how safe we felt and slept better than we had in days. Suzie's slice of paradise is still under construction but the work she has put in and her dream are so evident when we spoke to her, the passion and drive she has is incompatible with anyone else we have met. We were very aware of the power cuts that occur across the island and when this happened Suzie was incredibly apologetic and did all she could to ensure we were comfortable- this was not not necessary for us as we understand that this is Africa and cannot be helped. If you come across this place and are wondering whether or not to stay PLEASE BOOK, I promise you will not regret it!! Serenity stay will be a core memory for us now and forever because of you Suzie.
