I came here planning to stay 3 days and it was so nice I stayed 6. Just 3 minutes' walk from central park it is very peaceful with a labyrinth of garden paths, many nice sitting areas, sunny and shady; a real oasis in the middle of the busy oasis. The people, rooms, and breakfast are all great, Lots of hot water. I am a writer and found this to be a pleasant place to work. The green, tranquil gardens are worth the extra few dollars over the noisy hotels along main street.
The breakfast was great, authentic Egyptian, and filling but the same every day; a little boring after 6 days. Some fresh fruit would be nice.
