House with garden close to Vienna & Airport

Richard was a very friendly and helpful host, and communication was excellent throughout our stay. The house was generally clean and pleasant, with private parking and a nice garden. The game room was especially great for our children - they really enjoyed it and spent a lot of time there. We also appreciated the nice Smart TV with apps such as Netflix. Overall, the house worked well for our one-night stay.

At the time of our stay, Booking.com described the property as having two separate bedrooms. In reality, there was only one separate bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, while the other two guests slept on the sofa bed in the living room. After we asked about the sleeping arrangements before our arrival, the host explained the discrepancy and agreed to give us a discount. The listing has since been changed, but it still appears to show a second bedroom with another sofa bed in addition to the sofa bed in the living room. In reality, there is no second bedroom with another sofa bed - there is one bedroom, one living room with a sofa bed, and a separate game room. The sofa bed was usable for two adults for one night, but it was quite narrow and we would not find it comfortable for a longer stay. The garden photos also showed a hammock, a football goal and a trampoline, but none of these were available during our stay, which was disappointing when travelling with children. The biggest practical inconvenience was the older-style Flachspüler toilet, where waste lands on a flat shelf before being flushed away. The flush was quite weak and sometimes did not clear the bowl properly.

It was a wonderful vacation: a quiet, pleasant town, a cozy, spotlessly clean house with every amenity, and all the technology necessary for a fulfilling life. The owner's attentiveness, thoughtfulness, and preparedness for the home were beyond praise! Vienna is just a 25-minute drive away, and the house also provides leisure activities for children and their parents. A huge thank you to Richard!
