A Spanish Revival classic with white stucco and graceful arches, Maltman Manor sits on a quiet Silver Lake street where the Eastside's creative energy is always close but never crowding your door. The home has been restored with a modern hand while holding onto the character that makes these old LA houses worth seeking out.
Inside, the open living area catches the kind of California light that makes you want to slow down. Settle into plush seating around a big flat-screen with streaming ready to go, or claim the reading nook by the window for your morning coffee before anyone else is up.
The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless appliances and real cookware, so cooking in feels like a choice rather than a compromise. Gather at the dining table inside, or carry plates out to the enclosed patio, where a propane grill and seating for six stretch dinner into a long, easy evening under the Silver Lake sky.
Downstairs, the primary suite pairs a king bed and premium linens with a private balcony to step out onto. The second bedroom has a comfortable full bed and opens straight onto the patio, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room brings the home's total to six. The patio is fully fenced and yours alone for the stay — just keep an eye on kids and pets outside, since the neighborhood's resident critters tend to treat a fence as a friendly suggestion.
Central heat, fast Wi-Fi, and family- and pet-friendly comforts round things out, along with the travel basics so you can land and settle in.
Step out the door and you're a couple of minutes from Bellevue Park, with Silver Lake's cafés, boutiques, and corner spots an easy stroll away. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
