A truly great pub! We had a nice time and enjoyed our stay; especially the dinner was great. The pub is very dog-friendly, and unlike all the other accommodations we stayed at during our trip to the island, they didn't charge an extra fee for our dog. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Overall, a great spot that we highly recommend!
Just as a minor note and only from our perspective. The bathroom ventilation (Room 1) is linked to the light switch and runs for quite a long time after being switched off. Additionally, the toilet cistern tends to drip for a while. To keep things quiet at night, we simply used a night light we had brought with us and avoided flushing. While this wasn't a major issue for us, it was just a tiny bit cumbersome.

It's the perfect location when getting to and from England by Dover-ferry. Very relaxed to drive down to Dover in the morning. I was the only guest at breakfast (others left very early) and the cook was very friendly talking about the options and cooking my breakfast.
Nothing really, I like staying here for a night and feel at home.
