The space
Enjoy the comforts of home in this 440 sq. ft. studio modern log cabin guest house built in 1999 nestled upon a 46-acre parcel overlooking the Ukiah valley featuring a full kitchen and bathroom, cathedral ceiling, covered front porch & large concrete patio. The property is 3.2 miles from N. State St. in Ukiah, which is a 6 minute drive.
There's also a separate sitting area just below the front of the house with a graveled pathway to relax & enjoy the views that leads to walking trails on the property.
The full-size bathroom is within the studio & has a double-wardrobe closet & a large tiled shower, as is the full-size kitchen with granite countertops, a round dining table, and sub-zero refrigerator/freezer.
The sleeping area has a queen size bed & nightstands that is adjacent to the bathroom & living area with a wood-burning fireplace/stove insert (fireplace closed approx. May 1st - Nov. 1st due to fire danger season). There is a comfortable reclining love seat with a center console, a work desk with an ethernet cord, Wifi, mousepad & a floor lamp. The house also has a wall-mounted 43” LG smart TV w/ Dish satellite, Wifi, and pull-down window blinds for all lower windows - just not for the upper large cathedral-shaped windows.
The Rinnai liquid propane heater will make the house toasty warm in minutes. New quiet Frigidare portable air conditioner unit with thermostat control and sleep setting to keep the house cool during hot weather.
The driveway entrance has several reflectors coming up the main driveway, and then there is a lot of outdoor lighting along the driveway to the guest house and in the parking area next to the house; there are also outdoor motion lights on two sides of the house, hanging patio lighting, and a front porch light.

Free on-site parking right up to the house front door walkway with no stairs. Private vehicle, taxi, Uber, or Lyft required to get around this rural subdivision neighborhood as it is 3.2 miles to N. State St. in Ukiah, and the narrow winding 2-lane road is not good for bicycling or walking.

The house location is a 6-minute drive to N. State St. in Ukiah to access nearby Raley's grocery store & other markets including Costco, nearby local Forks Ranch Market, and Woodys Wash & Dry Laundromat in Raley's Shopping Center is 7 min. drive.
To the west on Orr Springs Road is Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve, the town of Mendocino on the Pacific coast & more!
Note: Orr Springs Road traveling west to the coast is not a two-lane highway, rather a two-lane paved road for adventurists. The main highways that go to the coast from Ukiah are Highway 20 west (Hwy. 101 north to Willits, then Hwy. 20 west to Fort Bragg, CA) OR also from Ukiah take Highway 253 west, then Hwy. 128 east to Hwy. 1 at the coast in Navarro, CA - then north on Hwy. 1 takes you to Albion, then Little River, then the town of Mendocino, Caspar, Fort Bragg.
