This is a charming place, very interesting and unusual. It reminds me of family guest house complexes outside the U.S., with character and connection, rather than a boring isolated box, like most U.S. hotels. The Hobbit Hut I stayed in is made of Cobb, a wonderful material. There's a pool, hot tub, sauna, peacocks, shared kitchen, cool common indoor areas and cool common outdoor areas. There's even an Egyptian Isis temple. The people were welcoming and friendly.
It's close to Highway 101, so there is some road noise.

This is not your ordinary hotel or inn. The facilities are shared but are maintained. The grounds are beautiful to walk around on and visit all the birds. You might even get to hear them sing. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get out in nature.
Although it is a beautiful place it does not have your typical amenities. I requested an iron and unfortunately, I never got it. But would still recommend. Just bring your necessities.

Very rustic facility. Grounds are a beautiful natural environment, park like, adjacent to forest area. with a unique animal zoo on the premises.

Good location for the event I was attending at Lake Sonoma. Cute town.
I was booked in Hobitt Hut through Booking.com, but someone else got it 40 minutes before I got there, so I stayed in the lodge. The lodge was quite comfortable, with a lovely lounge (no coffee) and a pool with spa. Also, Booking .com quoted me a price at $50/night, and it was considerably more (about $85/night)
