It rests right against the babbling waters of the Big Springs Fork of the Elk River, and right across the street from the wintertime shuttle bus stop at the Inn at Snowshoe. This shuttle runs from early in the morning to late into the evening and drops off and picks up right in the Village at Snowshoe.
