Villa Funchal

Pěkné místo s výhledem na oceán (z horní terasy). Byt vybavený myčkou, pračkou, sušiškou, velikost super. K dispozici je zde krb na BBQ, venkovní posezení, posilovna. Ochotný ubytovatel, když nám na Silvestra nešla elektřina, tak se snažili vše napravit. K dispozici je Dolce Gusto kávovar.

Vybavení bytu už má něco za sebou, potřeboval by trošku renovovat (židle v obývacím pokoji mají špinavé sedáky). Málo zásuvek (v koupelně není žádná), byli jsme zde na přelomu prosince/ledna, v bytě bylo chladno a ručníky neuschnuly ani po dvou dnech. V kuchyni chybí skleničky na víno nebo na pivo (jsou zde jen malé skleničky), nebyla zde jediná vařečka. Hodil by se zde vysavač (stačí malý, bateriový). Chybí zde toustovač.

The place was amazing. We truly felt at home. The rooms were spacious, and there was also one room with a private bathroom. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, and the coffee tasted incredible there. The house has a large outdoor space with plenty of room to enjoy gatherings and BBQs. Everything was very clean and perfectly prepared for guests. We recommend this place to everyone who does not enjoy staying in busy city centers or near loud roads. The location is fantastic, right next to the Barcelos viewpoint, which offers an amazing (really amazing) view and has two cafes you can enjoy. It is just a short walk from the house, which is wonderful, because you can admire Funchal from above at sunrise, sunset, and at night. There is also a bar nearby where you can get cold drinks or snacks at any time. A Pingo Doce store is close as well, where we bought fresh fish for our BBQ. You truly could not find a better location to stay if you want stunning views of the sea and mountain peaks. If you are traveling without a rental car, it is good to know that there is a busy bus stop right next to the apartment, with direct connections to the best beach, Praia Formosa. There you can swim, enjoy cafes, walk through a cave tunnel, and stroll along the beautiful promenade that leads to a charming fishing town. If you enjoy walking, nothing stops you from walking from the house to Funchal city center or to Praia Formosa. This place was so perfect for us that we would never come to Madeira and stay anywhere else. The owner’s mother lives nearby, and for Christmas she brought us tangerines and sweets, which was incredibly kind. If I wrote more details, it would take an hour to read, so do not hesitate, just book it. An amazing time in Madeira is only one step away.

The location, accomodation, gym, the view, size of the house, extras given, like the basket. I enjoyed everything.
