Was the perfect stay for our group of 6 attending a concert at the Hydro nearby! :)
The property is well decorated and has a warm and cosy ambience. It has 3 large bedrooms (x1 double room on the ground floor + x1 Double and x1 Twin upstairs), a spacious living area, free WiFi and a large smart tv, perfect for all of us to chill and relax at the end of the night. All rooms were great for lighting and plenty of mirrors for us getting ready before our event!
The property location is perfect with it being across the road from a 24hr garage, less than a 10 min walk to ASDA & 20 min walk to Govan Subway Station, local shops & cafes. We also had no issues with getting Taxi/Uber’s to and from the property. Also, despite being next to a main road, you cannot hear any traffic from inside the property!
Access to the property is via self check in which was super straight forward, details of this was clearly provided in advance by the host :)
A few small things that could do with improving:
- The bedrooms could be doing with some storage facilities (we were fine for our one night stay keeping our belongings in our bags, however I think this may be frustrating for longer stays!). There is also not very many plug sockets available for charging our devices.
- There is only one bathroom upstairs and unfortunately the lock wasn’t working throughout our stay. The front door lock is also a wee bit of a hassle and takes a few attempts to figure out how to shut & lock it properly.
- Making a info booklet available in the property would be beneficial, with information on house rules, check out procedures, local amenities, etc :)

I love that the heating had been put on ahead of our stay so the property was warm and cozy upon arrival.
I was happy to see the original glass doors have been kept in this old property, keeping it's character, it felt like i had come home. This may be a feature others would like to see upgraded, i say don't do it! Keep those doors for as long as you possibly can because they just don't make them the same elegant way anymore! They are honestly my favourite feature of this property!
The beds were amazing to sleep on, orthopaedic mattresses, all double beds, ample space in the bedrooms. Everything needed was available as if we were staying at a friend or family member's home. Plenty towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo, dish soap, flannels, dish cloths, dishes of every kind including a variety of pots and pans. Hoover in the cupboard along with iron and ironing board, black bags for the bin.
24 hour garage across the road, Asda supermarket around the corner, close proximity to two subway stations so a trip into city centre only takes half an hour altogether.
My only complaint is the front door needs its locking mechanism redone, we could not close the door and keep it closed without locking. Locking was tricky and the more a person has to push and pull for this, the worse the mechanism becomes over time so i do strongly recommend property owner contact a joiner who can sort it asap for them. I had no concerns over the security of the door while locked but it would be a shame to leave it as it is, i fear it may put off future visitors... but i will most certainly book this property gain in the future.

Location very convenient for us. Ease of entry and exit was admirable.
Beds weren't great, very low. Overall condition of interior was quite poor but will hopefully be upgraded in time..
