Peaceful cottage with views - Fairview Cottage

We just had a really relaxing stay, it all felt very easy. (2 adults, a teenager and a dachshund) The cottage is a lovely spacious home, very clean in a beautiful location. Carefully considered with everything you might need for washing up, as well as dishwasher tablets, rinse-aid, and laundry tablets. Loads of clean, new-looking crockery, cutlery, glassware and decent sized mugs. With an oven, induction hob, 4 slice toaster, kettle and microwave there is everything you would want to feel at home. The utility room is brilliant, with tumble dryer and an airing rack. The cottage had a lovely feel to it, filled with books, records and artwork. The vast windowed wall has a built in window seat running the length of it, inviting you to sit and enjoy the view. Similarly the vast dining table allows you to enjoy your meal whilst surveying the rolling landscape. The village is really well serviced. Post Office open 7 days per week plus a well stocked, viillage store open 7 days per week until 8pm. Plus a cafe, butchers and pub. Clean well stocked Lidl 10-15 minutes drive away, and a Sainsburys, but this was a bit tired. Penryn University campus only 10-15 minutes away too, so easy to get to and 20 minutes to Falmouth.

A car charger would be a bonus, but if you're travelling along the A38, there is a great stop off 80 miles from Fairview, https://strawberryfieldslifton.co.uk/pages/buckfastleigh-farm-shop with rapid chargers and a lovely cafe. I thought the mattress felt a bit tired... but I slept like a log so it clearly wasn't a problem.

We liked absolutely everything !! The location was fabulous, and the views were spectacular. It was even better because it was mostly all on one level. The “cottage” was huge - 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and plenty of living space. The kitchen was also very large and really well equipped - it had everything you needed for a home from home holiday. We couldn’t fault it in any way,and would definitely return there. Very peaceful setting with beautiful large gardens - a truly wonderful place in a fantastic location and it had plenty of parking room too. It was also very easy to access the property with the key safe,and the directions given were spot on too. Truly fantastic !! Thank you for letting us stay in this fabulous place.

Nothing - everything was wonderful.

It was so spacious with great attention to detail in the living space. The bedrooms were very ample, and the master bedroom had en-suite bathroom facilities. Remarkably large and lots of light. I loved the garden and the fact that it was very private. The host Emma kept in touch throughout our visit to make sure that we were happy.
