Lakeview Dome

Had a very relaxing feel, just what we needed.

We had thought we may go wild swimming but broken piece of wood and I was worried about other debris under the surface.

The complete peace and quiet

The setting was beautiful. Attention to detail made the stay. The freedom to explore. Location

When we encountered a wasp nest and 100s of wasps above our bathroom door and in bathroom, although offered an alternative bathroom (which wouldn’t have been helpful, distance and walking through the host home party) . There was no offer to clean up the 100s of wasps we had to kill to enter bathroom. We was offered our toilet be placed outside which wouldn’t have been ideal at all. When sat having a private picnic the grounds man came cutting grass. There was nothing to be able to sweep with nor wipe toilet with.

The setting was beautiful.

The property was nice in itself, but we experienced some problems. We paid £70, for the hot tub to be ready for our 4pm check in time, it wasn’t ready. The dome was 44 degrees inside, they could have maybe closed the curtains to keep the heat out until check in. We didn’t get to use the hot tub until 9pm, we’re also accused of not having booked it, although I’d sent proof of payment. , which had been replied to, saying it would be ready. We had to sit outside for ages, until it was cool enough in the Dome. And only used the hot tub for an hour and a half, as it was so late. We’d been on a six mile walk and were looking forward to the hot tub being ready at the 4pm check in time. Spoilt, what could have been an amazing stay. No real apology or offer of partial refund. I won’t be recommending it to family or friends.
