Tiny House in Wonderland

We were lucky because the other houses on the premises were empty the night we stayed there. Only met another family late in the evening. Could have been horrible if there were kids/party guests in the other houses. The garden was nice and spa area fine.

We missed that the hot tub was charged £80 for two hours and needed to be booked in advance. I understood that the hot tub could be used during our stay but an option was a chargeable private hire. Host refused to refund our booking blaming the unclear message on Booking.com. I think there are better options with full access to a hot tub during the whole stay. Also the mezzanine bedrooms are pretty unpleasant. We stayed in the sofa. We knew about it so not a surprise. Maybe we were unlucky but we had a peacock stalking us every step on the premises.

Wow, where to start.??? We were pretty much left to our own devices , which for two busy working parents was just perfection. We booked the spa deck for our first evening and this just set the tone for the whole break. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and the sauna looked out over the lake, so we enjoyed a nice cold drink whilst watching the 14 goslings bobbing around as the sun went down. Who has a sauna with it's own personal viewing hide...? We then went for a wander to explore the farm and found the viewing hide where we saw Barn Owls, Deer, Kestrels, Storks and so much more... The stars at night were mesmerizing and we sat outside on a picnic blanket soaking it all up. The following day we went out on the bikes into Shoreham, the Downs link bike path is literally at the end of the drive, just too easy, all off road and super flat.. A birthday dinner at Tottingham Manor that evening (the food was delicious) then back to soak up some more stars. The last morning we said goodbye to the very friendly (and rather funny) resident peacocks and headed to The Knepp Estate for a 4 hour walk. If you like bird watching, then this place is a must.... despite it raining all day we absolutely loved it. The rewilding project there is fantastic. Thank you so much to the hosts for creating such a beautiful space. We absolutely loved our time here, i think we lucked out as we were the only ones there.. So booking mid week would be a good tip...

This is a tough one as the whole stay really blew us away.... I'm not too keen on heights. so we ended up staying downstairs as the ceilings are quiet low and the stairs took a bit of getting used to. But this didn't affect our stay in the slightest. There are various other places to stay on site (which i didn't realise). So would would definitely go back and stay in either the Dome, Shepherds Hut or the Safari Tent.
