When contacting the property on the day they were helpful and friendly. I was very stressed but they were patient and understanding. Property were also very quick to return the damage deposit minus the charge for an additional last minute guest. A lovely welcome bag too with sweet treats.
The contact from the property regarding the check in process was not until the evening before which was late for me as I was busy so I did not see the instructions regarding the damage deposit until after the deadline which caused me unnecessary stress. I had been asking for a whole week what the process was as I knew I was going to be busy prior to checking in.

Superb location!
The owner runs a side hustle by keeping your damage deposit for a week; that’s a week of bank interest on your £500 deposit! Still waiting for an invoice … as I expect that they clear 80k per year they don’t want to issue a VAT invoice …
