Beachloft 2G

The location was nice, loved the well equipped kitchen, unit was small but had everything we needed, lots of pillows and blankets and towels, comfy sleeping areas, lots of outlets and usb charging spots. Loved the big balcony that could be used as more living space. Really liked having the area rugs in the unit so it wasn't all cold wood/tile floors

Definitely didn't like the view, from the 2nd floor anyway. Was as expected from photos. I just prefer seeing the beach and waves from the rental. And the dunes blocked the view. Elevators are super tiny and slow. No space or area to store food/snacks in the unit. Rental unit not kept up the greatest. Broken door. TV remotes were broken or missing batteries or had dead batteries, TVs/cable/wifi/wifi passwords did not work at all. It was stormy and cold the whole time we were on vacation so we spent most of our time in the rental unit, and our kids had online schooling so they needed wifi to do schoolwork. Nothing worked properly. Also were told there was a spa area and indoor pool and a theater and other amenities before and after we booked (why we booked this unit) and there was none of that. Especially when the weather was as bad as it was the week we were there. Those amenities were super important. We couldn't do anything. The glass/screen door was broken and damaged and got caught on our clothes/hoodies constantly. Put a pretty bad scratch on my husbands back. The door also would not stay closed at all. It constantly opened back up. And with it being cold and windy it made the unit really cold. One night it got down to the low 60s so we turned the heat on to warm up a little and it made the smoke detector go off so we had to immediately shut it back off. I was worried there was a fire in the wall/ducts the whole night.(thankfully there wasn't) Over all we made the best of the trip and enjoyed our stay. But it definitely could have been better
