Communication with our host, Erik, was timely and friendly. The apartment was warm, cosy, and well‑equipped, which made settling in effortless. We appreciated the location - grocery stores and restaurants were just around the corner, and most of Tromsø was easy to reach on foot provided you’re comfortable walking and prepared for the weather. Being close to many tour departure points made activities like whale watching, snowmobiling, aurora chasing, and the Fjellheisen cable car very convenient. For anything farther, such as getting to and from the airport, the Svipper app made using the bus simple. A real highlight was seeing the northern lights on several nights, including from the comfort of the apartment’s balcony!

We had a great stay in the apartment, there was plenty of room, a well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and it was in an excellent, walkable location in Tromsø. Thank you Erik for the lovely touch of the Christmas tree and lights for the holiday. We were lucky enough to see plenty of northern lights from the balcony!
Not a big problem, just a note that for four people you will have to use the foldout bed, not the extra beds as in some pictures.
