Emplacement à 30 min à pied de Resselpark, la rue était calme peu passante, une boulangerie à 2 mins à pieds. Chambre agréable et suffisante pour mon séjour, j'ai aussi apprécié la douche.

même si les transports ne sont pas loin du logement, je conseil de prendre le taxi pour se rapprocher plus rapidement des lieux d'intérêts touristique.

The hotel has an interesting historical character, which was the main reason I chose it. The bed was very comfortable with many pillows, and the bathroom was spacious with a nice shower, bathrobe, and plenty of towels. When the first room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the staff changed it immediately without any issue, which I appreciated. Breakfast was good and dinner was also enjoyable.

Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay did not meet the expectations of a 5-star international hotel. Some staff interactions felt unprofessional. At dinner, the waiter asked where I was from and after learning I am from Slovenia started speaking Croatian. In an international hotel, English should remain the neutral and professional language. A similar situation happened at reception where I was repeatedly addressed as “gospodine.” Several interactions also started without even a basic greeting, which felt unusual for a hotel of this category. While the hotline staff was friendly, they could not clearly explain even basic restaurant information such as opening hours. The first room smelled of smoke. The replacement room was acceptable but quite dark because there is no overhead lighting. Several expected amenities were missing, such as cotton pads and towel hangers. I also noticed stains on the bathroom ceiling. The television was quite small, and the toiletries had a very strong scent that irritated my eyes. The wellness area was disappointing and felt more like a gym facility than a hotel spa. Guests must walk through the gym to reach the pool and bring their own towels. Most people in the pool area appeared to be external gym users rather than hotel guests relaxing at the spa. There is only one small sauna, no drinking water or refreshments, and only one basic pool without features such as a jacuzzi. Overall, while the hotel has potential, the service and facilities did not reflect what I would expect from a 5-star property. I can understand why the hotel currently has a relatively low rating compared to similar hotels, and I would choose another property next time.

Room was small, but nice. Luckily there was a big fan, because it was very hot. Location was good.

The smell in the bathrooms was awful- also after cleaning. Especially after taking a shower, it was almost unbearable. It came from the drains in the showers plus sinks, we believe. Plus in the extra toilet there is no possibility to wash hands- no sink available- only toilet.
