Was an absolutely wonderful place for us to stay in Sulmona! Parking was close—yet outside the old city wall—though easier even with the slope, to arrive at compared to many other old towns. Very spacious inside, kept cool during the hot summer days, and had a lovely entryway.
We were unable to locate a sharp knife and cutting board in the kitchen, and the grinding toilet water system in the main bathroom was interesting to experience.
