La Caye - Ocean View Villa

We stayed at La Caye – Ocean View Villa as a couple and really enjoyed the calm and privacy the place offers. The ocean view is outstanding, with constant waves and beautiful sunrises right in front of the terrace. The villa is spacious, very clean, and well equipped, making it comfortable for more than just a short stay. The layout feels open but still private, which worked well for us. The hosts were friendly, reliable, and easy to communicate with. Everything was well organized from arrival to departure. Callibishie is quiet and authentic, and a good starting point to explore Dominica by car. A great place for couples looking for peace, nature, and a high-quality stay with an excellent view.

We had a really lovely stay at La Caye. The house is well equipped, whether you want to cook for yourself or go out and try the small bars and restaurants nearby. We did both. The large balcony has amazing sea views. I also enjoyed doing some morning yoga there with the ocean sound in my ears. There even is a hammock in the garden, which is a great place to relax or read a book. The inside of the house is very spacious and bright, so it is perfect to enjoy both, sunny and cloudy days to the fullest. The furniture is charming and makes the house really cozy. Calibishie itself is a very cute village and the people are friendly and welcoming. We followed Manuel’s recommendations and discovered some great local bars and beaches that we probably wouldn’t have found otherwise. Overall Manuel is a great host and always replied quickly and helpfully whenever we had questions and requests. Communication was easy and uncomplicated. We actually wish we had stayed here for a full week or two instead of changing places. With a rental car, it’s easy to get around the island from here and it’s only 20min away from the airport. We surely will be back!

It is spacious and has a superb view on the sea. Nice generous balcony to lounge and eat. The place is surrounded by a lot of green. Manuel was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Thank you Manuel.
