The Apartment was really comfortable, easy to find, a short walk from the beach, well equipped, and you could tell that a lot of effort went into ensuring that everything you needed was there! Monica was very friendly and had lots of advice to share on where to go and what to do!

The bathroom floor was very slippery when wet.

The location is perfect. A block away from the beach, easy walk and beach access. The apartment is well equipped for an extended stay, with a dishwasher and washing machine. The area is quiet, but within close proximity to Grand Baie and other tourist attractions.

Breakfast was not included. The pin location was not precise, because we arrived at night, we battled a little to find the place. Once we found it, the instructions were very precise to gain entry into the premises. We had secure private parking for our rental car, and the neighborhood is very quiet, with lots of bird life. There is a nice beach within walking distance, and some other stunning beaches within a short drive away. Shopping is easy with many options to choose from, also within a short drive away. A small section of road is not tarred and is quite rocky and bumpy and muddy when it rains, but it is literally only about 75m long and not a big deal, even with our small car it was fine if you drive slowly.

We are not smokers, so it was disappointing to find that we had booked a non-smoking apartment, yet it had a really strong smell of stale smoke. Unfortunately, even though we ventilated the apartment profusely, it took days before we weren't able to pick up the smell anymore. A small hand or normal vacuum cleaner would be handy, since we lived with the doors open all the time, the wind blows a lot of dust in, and we had to sweep regularly. An aircon downstairs would also be great. Beach chairs and an umbrella in the apartment would be a welcome addition too. The AC filters in the 2 upstairs bedrooms were blocked and I had to clean them to get airflow, but then they worked really well.
