Accommodation about 20 minutes walk from central ADO bus terminal, and 10 minutes from beach. Nearby supermarkets, bars, restaurants etc. Safe, mainly quiet area. Number pad entry to hostel, key to room (with combination keysafe so you don't have to carry keys with you). Basic English spoken, intermittent communication by WhatsApp. Clean. Reasonable, basic breakfast from 9 to 11 (Toast, jam, small yoghurt (with granular), tea, coffee, fruit juice & fruit (apple/banana)). Seating areas outside on all levels, and clothes drying area on roof (washing lines and pegs). Card payment before arrival. Largish bedroom, 2 double beds. Shelving and rails (but no coat hangers), sink, flat screen TV (with streaming, eg Netflix, streams well, not like wifi). Ceiling fan and air-conditioning. Small bathroom, hot shower. Lighting OK. Plenty of powerpoints, but not by main bed.
No sign of recycling.
Wifi/internet/network poor in upper rooms, dropping frequently. Not tried elsewhere, but guest on ground floor also noted it was poor.
Quiet times are supposed to be from 9pm to 9am, but usually more like 10pm to 7am (no-one on site at night to monitor), worst culprit, noisy child of staff early one morning.
WhatsApp, sometimes immediate response, sometimes takes hours, or not until next day.
Other than 2 very small bottles, no drink water supplied.
Beds not very comfortable, in fact 1 bed unsleepable with springs poking through. Oversized mattresses still on small bases (even though they have reinforced it with plywood, it doesn't do the trick). Cold at night, so sheet and thin blanket not really enough. Pillows missing stuffing. No bedside units or lights. No bin. Bedroom sink tap drips, also leaks through plug hole. No mirror in bathroom (or anywhere). No hooks for towels.
Despite these negative comments, it deserves a good 7/10 because of the price ratio.

El personal es muy atento y la ubicación es muy buena. El desayuno es sencillo. La habitación tiene aire acondicionado y la cama es cómoda.
El baño es un poco incómodo.
