The price for the hostel was amazing. Best deal I could find around Fukuoka that didn't bankrupt me. The hostel was clean, had showers, free wifi, downstairs bar area for eating and even watching some netflix. Its right by the subway and makes great for traveling. I met lots of great people there and the owners were both very kind, polite and helpful. Highly recommend.

If you're coming to Fukuoka this winter for whatever reason, this is a great alternative to downtown for just a 50 min train ride, more space, big comfortable beds, and bar/lounge/lobby downtown with a bunch of TVs that can play different channels at the same time.

I had a bad experience here. The log in process was complicated as no one was on site. The dorm has a live camera operating 24/7. There are cameras in every room. The manager moved me to a higher floor which also included a camera. There are no lights where the beds are so when the curtain is drawn you can't see anything! I pointed this out and through his translator app he said you can read a book down in the bar! Which is where the microwave and electric kettle are located. There is no kitchen. The staff never greet you and are unfriendly. They also charge double on holidays and weekends. DON'T STAY HERE.
