    I had a great stay at Sakura Hakata Hotel. The location worked perfectly for me—it sits between Canal City and Tenjin, with about a 20-minute walk to each. I enjoy walking when I travel, so I actually preferred this over staying right in the middle of the busy areas. The staff were very kind and helpful. There was a slight language barrier at times, but they always did their best to assist, so it never became an issue. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness. Everything felt spotless, modern, and well-maintained—it honestly felt like I was the first guest to use the room. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Fukuoka.

    Room is new and clean, bed is comfortable. Location wise three stop to Hakata Station, anytime fitness and lawson right outside the alley. Will definitely come back.

    Very nice staff. Only thing the walls are very thin, if you are close to the stairs you know when someone is using them. Sadly there was a drunk person that was yelling and banging on doors at 2am. I dont think someone was at reception to help manage that situation. The next morning i asked to change rooms to be further from the stairs and they accommodated me. Overall nice stay, very clean, lots of places to eat close also a supermarket open 24hrs a few blocks away.
