About this villa rental
At Ma Maison Downtown Villa you will discover Athens at its best. This exquisite four-level villa, spanning 3.600 square feet, offers unparalleled luxury and convenience. It has a big Jacuzzi, 2 living rooms, 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and parking for two cars. The main sites will literally be on your feet. •Big Jacuzzi for 4 in the patio overlooking the living room,
•1 huge living room with sofa, coffee table, 2 comfortable armchairs, a pool table and a flat 55-inch tv with a lot of free satellite channels
•1 extra living room with a sofa (it can be turned into a double bed), an armchair and a library
•Modern kitchen with electrical appliances such as fridge with freezer, oven with hobs, microwave oven, coffee machines (nespresso and filter), toaster, boiler. There are pots and cutleries, dishes, glasses, teapot, coffee kit and also coffee (nespresso and filter), sugar, tea (special kinds of Greece),
•A big dining area with a table that can sit up to 10 people,
•1 master Bedroom with a queen size bed with anatomic mattress, pillows and all-weather quilt. There is a large walking closet with hangers for your clothes and personal items, 1 armchair and a 46-inch TV with a lot of free satellite channels,
•1 Bedroom with a king size bed with anatomic mattress, pillows and all-weather quilt. There is a large closet with hangers for your clothes and personal items, 1 armchair and a 46-inch TV with a lot of free satellite channels,

We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend Yannis’ villa. It was on a quiet street and yet in a great location for exploring Athens and walking to the Acropolis and restaurants. The villa was extremely clean and spacious, with bedrooms on three different floors. The library room was cool and even had a selection of CDs. It was an extra space to hang out in and could also be accessed by a staircase in the basement bedroom so it made for a nice private space for those in that room. Yannis was very responsive and his associate met us at the house at 7 am since our flight arrived early that morning and we had booked it for the night before so we could sleep right away. There was a gated (locked) parking area for two cars. It had other fun amenities like a jacuzzi in a room that the door could close, as well as a pool table. The privacy shutters were great and they automatically closed in all rooms when leaving the house and setting the alarm. It was a nice touch to leave us a bottle of wine too. We would definitely stay again.

It is a lovely house and very comfortable. The check in process was smooth. Communication was easy and responsive. Everything worked. The kitchen was not super well equipped. No knives for food prep for example. This was a challenge as we had planned a few working meals. What I didn’t like was that the surveillance camera in the courtyard was used to monitor us. When we had guests I received a call from the owner asking who these other people were. And he had counted. I did not know of the requirement to report the coming and going of people. We had received their T’s and C!s only an hour before arrival. Would have been better sent on booking. We ended up having a fifth person (shared a bed) on some nights and on others were down to 3 and 2. I was asked to pay an additional security deposit and an added thousand euros for the extra person or we would be thrown out. I did not like the aggressive tone of the owner. VRBO did say I had to and that it is at the owner’s discretion. I await my refund on added security deposit.
