About this house rental
Rosemary Cottage is a charming Grade II Listed 17th-century Cotswold stone cottage in the heart of Bibury, “the most beautiful village in England.” Just a 2-min walk to Arlington Row and close to the tranquil River Coln, it blends original features like exposed beams with modern comforts. Featuring two cozy bedrooms, a real fire and off-street parking. Ideally situated for wedding venues, countryside walks and with the Swan Inn pub less than 5 min walk - it’s the perfect countryside retreat. Welcome to Rosemary cottage! Located next to a tranquil local green, the property is spread out over three floors. The house was built in the 17th century and maintains many quaint original features. Please note- this sometimes means you need to watch your head! We think this adds to the charm, but please bear this in mind before booking. The ground floor features an open-plan lounge and full kitchen. Relax on the large corner sofa with a glass of wine while the fire crackles in the background, or watch a movie on the TV with soundbar and sub-woofer. There is space for 6 around the dining table and a dishwasher to save you washing the dishes. Climb the original 17th century staircase* to the first floor (rope handle rail and restricted space mean that this maybe be unsuitable for those with restricted mobility) where the master bedroom with king size bed and luxury mattress makes your sleep as comfortable as your stay. The first floor bathroom features a bath so you can have a soak after a walk in the countryside.
