Peacefully situated just off, but within easy reach of, the main tourist trails it’s the ideal starting point to explore all that the Cotswolds have to offer from glorious walks, the network of quaint villages (Bibury, Eastleach) to trout farms and country pubs.

Enjoy far-reaching views, from every bedroom, across a sweeping meadow to the river Coln and unspoiled countryside beyond.

Peacefully situated just off, but within easy reach of, the main tourist trails, in all directions, it’s idyllic position offers an ideal starting point from which to explore all that the beautiful Cotswolds have to offer from glorious riverside and woodland walks, through a network of small quaint villages (Bibury, Eastleach) to trout farms and and both fine-dining and rustic country pubs.

Coln St Aldwyns lies equidistant from the Roman town of Cirencester, the medieval market town of Burford and the inland port of Lechlade upon Thames and nearby family attractions include the Cotswold Water Parks, the Cotswolds Wildlife Park, the Crocodile Farm, Soho farmhouse, Thyme at nearby Southrop and Daylesford farm.
Kelmscott Manor, the home of William Morris, the founder of the Art & Crafts movement, the Cotswolds Woolen Mill at Filkins and Buscott Manor are all just a short drive away and well worth a visit.

Nearby the NEW INN provides fine dining and uniquely, Coln St Aldwyns boasts a very well-stocked Village Store/Post Office/Coffee Shop supplying a wide range of groceries, fresh farm produce, breads and other essentials.
