Welcome to "The Beehive"—your sweet spot on Lake Hamilton! This charming, pet-friendly lakefront retreat is designed for families, friends, and fur babies looking to buzz away from the daily grind.
Located in a quiet cove just minutes from Hot Springs’ main attractions, The Beehive offers the best of both worlds: peaceful water views and easy access to the action. Spend your days paddling off your private swim dock with our complimentary kayaks, grilling on the patio, or roasting s'mores around the firepit under the stars.
Inside, you'll find a bright, modern "bee-themed" haven with King beds, smart entertainment, and all the comforts of home. Whether you are here for the horse racing at Oaklawn, hiking the National Park, or just floating the day away, The Beehive is the perfect place to land.
The Space
-- THE VIBE -- Newly refreshed with a nod to our name, The Beehive features cheerful decor, modern furniture, and an open-concept layout that brings everyone together. Large windows frame the lake views, flooding the living area with natural light.
-- BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS -- We comfortably sleep up to 6 guests across two spacious bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 (Primary): King Size Bed, en-suite bathroom, and plenty of closet space.
Bedroom 2 (Family Room): King Size Bed + Double Bed. This room is perfect for a second couple or a family with kids who want to room together.
Bathrooms: 2 Full Bathrooms stocked with fresh towels, hand soap, and hair dryers.
-- THE KITCHEN & DINING -- The heart of the home! Our spacious kitchen is fully equipped for the chef in your group.
Stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher).
Coffee station (Keurig & Drip).
Cookware, bakeware, dishes, and utensils provided.
Dining table and breakfast bar seating so you can chat while you cook.

Private Dock: Park your boat or use it as a swim platform (seasonal water levels apply—Lake Hamilton is drawn down Nov–March, but the view remains beautiful!).
Kayaks: 2 Adult kayaks + water floats are included free of charge (don't forget life jackets!).
Firepit: A private fire ring in the yard for evening bonfires.
Patio: Features outdoor seating and a gas grill for BBQ nights.
The Yard: A grassy lawn sloping gently to the water—perfect for the dogs to stretch their legs.

High-Speed WiFi: Perfect for streaming or remote work.
Smart TV: Log into your favorite streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc.).

You will have exclusive, private access to the entire home, yard, and dock.
Parking: Free driveway parking is available for up to 2 vehicles (plus room for a boat trailer if needed).
Entry: Secure, keyless entry code provided before arrival for a seamless check-in.
Location & Neighborhood
The Beehive is located on the highly desirable Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
On the Water: We are in a "no-wake" zone cove, meaning the water is calm and safe for swimming and kayaking without heavy boat traffic.
Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort: ~10-minute drive.
Hot Springs National Park / Bathhouse Row: ~15-minute drive.
Magic Springs Theme Park: ~20-minute drive.
Grocery & Dining: Harps Food Store and local restaurants are just a few minutes away by car.
Other Things to Note
Lake Levels: Like all properties on Lake Hamilton, water levels are lowered by the power company annually from November 1st to March 1st. During this time, the dock may rest on the lakebed, but the yard and firepit are still fully enjoyable!
Safety: Life jackets are provided, but guests use the lake and watercraft at their own risk.
The Shoreline & Our Local "Protector"
Being right on the water means we share our space with nature! You’ll likely see our local geese during your stay. They are harmless and quite shy, but they do occasionally leave "presents" on the walkway. We provide a dedicated broom on the patio to make quick work of any cleanup so you can keep your view pristine.
You might also spot our neighbor’s cat, the self-appointed "Protector of the Shoreline." He’s a friendly local fixture who does a great job of keeping the geese at bay. He is very well-cared for (with his own beds, food, and litter box in the sunroom next door) and, like the geese, will generally stay out of your way. He stays away from dogs, so you won't have any issues if you're staying with your furr babies.
Pets: We love hosting pets! A pet fee applies to cover additional cleaning. Please ensure your furry friends are house-trained.

We were in town to visit Garvan Woodland Gardens Holiday Lights! We drove from the Austin, Texas area and wanted to stay near the Gardens:) so The Beehive worked! The cottage located on Lake Hamilton in a lake community area had beautiful large trees and an exceptional two magnolias that formed an arbor area that was great! The home was immaculately clean and uncluttered so lots of room for us and our pups and crates. Since we just used one of the two bedrooms, I used the hall bathroom and the hubs used master bath. Nice to have that space. The heat worked well since it was chilly in evenings. We enjoyed the very timely communication and local information tips from the management company Spa City. As we had to wait for dryer weather to visit the Gardens we enjoyed some movies on the television! This was definitely the right spotTo be. Also, it was a quick drive into restaurants and grocery shopping in Hot Springs!! All in all we enjoyed the stay and relaxed while in The Beehive!

This place is great!! Beautiful location on Lake Hamilton with 2 kayaks. Close to Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village. Played two rounds of Golf at Grenada and Cortez, beautiful courses. Garven Woodland Gardens is a must see, took a couples bath at Quapaw bath house, very relaxing! Would defiantly stay at the Beehive again!!
