LUXURY BEACH BREAK.



Start or end your day at the beach just metres from the apartment. Bright, breezy and tastefully appointed, this penthouse provides all the essentials for a relaxed holiday: sea views, high-speed internet, peaceful but convenient location with a host of eateries at your fingertips, and short stroll to Puerto Banus.





Located in a beautiful beachside setting, this well presented penthouse boasts sleek, stylish interiors with an easy indoor/outdoor connection. The open plan living/dining area flows onto an ample west-facing terrace with sea glimpses and a leafy outlook of the tropical gardens. There is also a cosy sundeck on the rooftop, with bonus views to the mountains, if you would like to catch some rays in privacy. The terrace is equipped with comfy furniture for dining and lounging. A fully fitted kitchen including a traditional filter coffee machine, air conditioning, fast internet, IPTV and on-site parking all ensure your stay is comfortable.

LOCATION



Castiglione is a prestigious gated community with an outdoor pool set in lush tropical gardens. It has direct access to the San Pedro beach promenade, which goes all the way to Marbella. The location is about as good as it gets and you can leave the car home. Castiglione is in the heart of the beach lifestyle action but still enjoys a quiet location for a relaxed holiday. You can choose from an array of restaurants and beach bars, along the waterfront or in the town itself. Both San Pedro town and Puerto Banus are a flat, easy stroll away.



San Pedro Alcantara is a coastal town wedged between Marbella and Estepona and, despite its proximity to glamorous Marbella, has managed to remain unspoilt. Very traditional and laidback, it attracts the type of visitor looking for a more low-key holiday.



Although San Pedro is small, it is a vibrant town abuzz with restaurants, bars, bakery cafes and ice cream parlours. The food scene is both local and international, with Irish pubs, Asian restaurants, Dutch bars all next to traditional Spanish bars and restaurants. There are a couple of well-priced supermarkets (Mercadona, Maskom, Carrefour and Día), a 24-hour pharmacy and boutiques. Thursday is street market day, a true bargain hunter’s paradise. The Boulevard is fast becoming the heart of San Pedro and a favourite with children with a total of six playgrounds and a skateboard area. Adults can sit around nearby, or go to one of the bar/restaurants for a drink, a snack or a meal.



Nueva Alcantara is the new part of town with wide tree-lined avenues leading down to the beach. On the waterfront, the 2 km sweeping tiled promenade serves as an open-air gym with exercise machines and is always bustling with joggers, strollers and dog walkers. It is dotted with chiringuitos all the way along, most of them offering Mediterranean cuisine and, of course, the ubiquitous thirst-quenching tinto de verano. The promenade also links up to Puerto Banus and it is possible to walk all the way to Marbella along the sea front.



Don't expect any wild nightlife. A night out typically consists of a meal and a few drinks at a local bar - although there are a couple of salsa clubs- or a moonlight stroll along the beach promenade. If you're looking for a big party night, Marbella and Puerto Banús are a short drive away.



For sporting activities, there are many options. Very close by is the Nueva Alcantara Club with 16 padel courts and the I/O gym. The adjacent residential area of Guadalmina is also known for its well kept golf courses. If you just want to hit a few balls try the Guadalmina public driving range (Located close to the Barceló Hotel). For a bit more action for the kids, the Cable Ski Marbella, next to the driving range, offers wakeboard, kneeboard, and water-ski lessons. The road to Ronda starts at San Pedro so experienced cyclists can enjoy a challenging but beautiful ride.

We have stayed in a few of the Take a Break rentals in this complex and have loved each one. The booking process is always easy, communication is smooth, and Vilma—as always—was absolutely amazing! The property itself had beautiful sea views, very comfortable beds, and a lovely terrace to enjoy. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need. We didn’t cook during our stay, but if you wanted to, it had everything covered. The only small thing I missed was a Nespresso machine, as many of the other properties have one and it’s very handy. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property!

The apartment is exactly as advertised. All the little extras like beach towels and chairs readily available. Although small there was a fully stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds in both rooms. Numerous restaurants within minutes and probably no need to hire a car, although you would then need transportation to the nearest shop. And our host Vilma was always available with immediate responses to any queries. The dining chairs on balcony are not very comfortable and may be worth changing.

It was super clean and well maintained with no clutter and quality bedding. It was well located with the beach and lovely restaurants just 3mins away. The swimming pool was quiet and we enjoyed the afternoons sun tanning and swimming especially when it was windy on the beach and the pool was sheltered. The water was very cold for both the pool and the sea but it was April so we did expect that. I would definitely recommend this place, we had no issuesconcerns.
