YOUR BEACHHOUSE FOR MAKING MEMORIES.
We rent this house as a single home, however it is set up so each floor is self-sufficient with its own kitchen, great room, laundry, 2 bedrooms, and 2 1/2 baths. The whole house sleeps up to 14 adults and has 4 bedrooms with 4 full ensuite baths- plus 2 half baths, 2 kitchens, 2 laundry rooms and 2 great rooms. If needed, one of the great rooms can be used as a bedroom (queen sleeper couch) with a half bath making this a 5 bedroom house. Perfect for giving large families and their spouses private spaces and still be together.
Welcome to Casa Del Sol. At the end of a private lane there awaits Casa Del Sol. While you are here, this is your beach house. Experience the therapy of waking up and looking at the waves as they reflect the morning sun. Feel the cool ocean breeze and the hot sun. Dive into the sea, walk on the beach, or just sit on the porch. Relax and watch TV while looking at the ocean through the expansive glass doors. Enjoy a different array of colors every day at sunset. In the evenings, stargaze and dream.
We have preserved the beachy feeling of our oceanfront house while still giving you the conveniences you deserve. There are flat screen TVs in every bedroom and each living area has a large TV. We have games, books and water toys. Sit in the shady porches or out on the large balconies. If your budget is tight, cooking in can save you more money. You should find what you need to prepare your meals in our kitchens
The Beach Level is called Island Tropics. In the tropics they love shade as much as they love sun- one feels good because of the other. In this level you have the saturated colors of the islands: greens, yellows, blues, and corals. Colorful paintings, plank flooring, and stained wood furniture. Since it is at beach level, you just walk out the back porch and your toes are in the sand. Kids can be entertained in the world's largest sandbox. Sitting on the shady porch, you will feel like you are in your own private beach somewhere in the Caribbean. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, full kitchen, Living room (queen sleeper couch ), dining room and Laundry facilities.
The upstairs is called Key West. It features softer colors of apple greens, sky blues, corals, white wood furniture and wood floors. This unit has skylights. It offers 2 balconies and a shaded porch. The show-stopper, however, is its spectacular view. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, full kitchen, Living room (queen sleeper), dining room and Laundry facilities.
We have parking for 8 cars and are located away from busy A1A. We have a no driving beach. This means unobstructed views and is also safer for kids. The beach is wide, flat and sandy- no cliffs or rocks like the beaches north and south of us.
The oldest and (in my opinion) most romantic town of St Augustine is a 10 minute drive away. There is a shuttle that takes you back and forth. Be prepared to feel like you have stepped back in time to a town somewhere in Spain. You can even take a carriage ride.
Some things to do:
Within 2 blocks.-Restaurants, shops, surf shop and surf lessons, miniature golf, bike/surfboard/kayak etc. rental, a pool owned by a restaurant where you can have a drink, listen to music and watch the kids swim.
Within 5 min- Pier (with kids free splash park), Public tennis courts, play ground, library, YMCA (w/ daily or weekly memberships for pool and exercise center- very affordable), Alligator Farm, Amphitheater, Lighthouse, marinas
Within 10 min- Beautiful old St Augustine- historic and romantic
Within 15 min- Large Outlet mall, swimming with the dolphins at Marineland, famous World Golf Village
Within 30-45 min- Daytona Races
Within 60-90 min- Orlando( Disney World, MGM etc.)

Casa del sol was clean, plenty of room for multiple families with a separate kitchen and living space on each floor, and wonderful views for everyone. Communication and check in process couldn’t be easier. So easy with restaurant and coffee shops within walking distance. Old Towne St Augustine was a quick 10 min drive away.

beautiful view's very nice neighborhood lots of restaurants, fantastic host, everyone was so happy with the place, walk to the beach was a lot of fun. Marta was a great host, thanks again for making it so easy, would love to come back someday.

Marta was the perfect host; very responsive & nice.Check in was a breeze. Kitchen had everything you could want or need. The home was beautifully decorated and clean. The backyard and deck were great. The only complaint was from our young granddaughters (4 & 8 yo) that they had to go outside down the stairs to get to us, as the two levels are connected by an outdoor staircase, but they did love the stairs. So many walkable great restaurants, so the location is amazing. Had a wonderful stay!

This house was the breath of fresh air we needed after staying in a different house for over 30 years. After the death of our parents, we felt we needed a change. The gorgeous views, dinners on the porch, walkable distance to coffee and restaurants, beach just steps away, no cars — it was all wonderful. Even did a low country boil one night from Outer Banks Seafood — highly recommend. Communication with owner was great, and house was very clean
