Nomad s Downtown Lisbon - Rua Augusta

Nomad Downtown Lisbon is in a GREAT central location, and is a good size for a family of 4. Jaio is a good communicator & met us promptly at the property upon arrival. The property is NOT on maps & the street is pedestrian only, so it would help if instructions included info about drive-able streets for taxi drop-off, and adjacent businesses like Goodfellas/Intissima for orientation. The AC works but is wonky, so we had to reset the breakers several times. The elevator is up a small flight of stairs (no ramp) & is tiny so you'll need several trips to transfer luggage. If (like me) you can't carry heavy luggage up stairs, this is a problem. There is a washer but NO dryer, so you can't actually do laundry. Upon check-in, make sure you have enough coffee, ice, paper towel & toilet paper supplies, as there is NO service during your entire stay. We ended up going to the local market to buy ice & basic supplies, which are assumed in a hotel. Hopefully these little hints will help you, as the size & location can't be beat :)
