広くて清潔で、洗濯用の洗剤や脱衣所の扇風機など気遣いが行き届いていました。 荷物も近くのレストランで預かってもらえました。 レストランのピザもとてもおいしかったです！

強いて言うなら、階段が急すぎることですが、古民家なので、急階段も隠れ家に行くみたいでたのしかったです。

My stay at Kominka in Tomonoura was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. I arrived around 7:00 PM on a rainy evening. Even though it was a self check-in property in a quiet local neighborhood, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, so I had no trouble getting into the house. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. It feels like staying in a traditional ryokan, but with the privacy of having an entire home to yourself. Everything is thoughtfully prepared from the fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities to the luggage storage area downstairs and the peaceful bedroom upstairs. My favorite part was the bathtub. After spending several days exploring in the rain, soaking in that warm bath was exactly what I needed. It was incredibly relaxing, and I had one of the best nights of sleep during my entire trip. The location is also wonderful, right in the historic district of Tomonoura. The next morning, I simply stepped outside and walked to the lighthouse before exploring the town. It couldn’t have been more convenient. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and full of character, and the hosts were very kind. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tomonoura.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. The bedrooms are accessible by a narrow steep staircase (basically a ladder) but that was part of the fun! Fantastic washer/dryer and a nice comfy bed.

Some very low hanging beams easy to forget and hit your head on but didn’t detract from the location at all, just something to keep in mind!

Lovely Japanese house.

They were fine for me, but the stairs to the upper level are steep.
