Delmare Lake view house

We came to Kastoria simply because we were passing through on our way to Albania and wanted to spend one more night in Greece. Since we always travel with our two dogs, we filtered our search for pet-friendly accommodation and preferred an apartment so we could have separate rooms. From the very first moment, we were welcomed in such a warm and genuine way. Our host, Elenia, greeted us with two glasses of homemade limoncello and a freshly baked cocoa sponge cake that was still warm from the oven. It was such an unexpected gesture that both my wife and I were genuinely touched. The apartment itself was spotless. In fact, I almost felt a little guilty knowing that I would probably leave a bit of a mess and that our dogs might leave some fur here and there, because everything was so impeccably clean and well kept. It honestly exceeded our expectations. Although the entrance to the building is from a narrow side street behind the main road, with plenty of shops nearby, the surprise comes the moment you step inside the apartment and walk out onto the balcony. The view is simply amazing. You can see the lake and the entire town stretching along the shoreline. The balcony was perfectly clean, everything looked almost brand new, the mattress was new and incredibly comfortable, and even the sofa in the living room turned out to be comfortable enough for a nap. I actually fell asleep there for over an hour while watching TV with our dogs after a long day on the road before eventually moving to the bedroom. So yes, if needed, another guest could comfortably sleep there as well. We have travelled to many places in Greece and have always experienced great hospitality, but Mrs. Elenia made us feel like we were visiting family. The only thing I regret is that, when we were leaving, one of our dogs wasn’t feeling well, so I had to take them to the car and never got the chance to say goodbye properly. My wife did, but I still wish I had.

Nothing to complain..

Εξαιρετικό διαμέρισμα, άνετο με θέα όλη τη λίμνη της Καστοριάς. Η οικοδέσποινα πρόθυμη να μας εξυπηρετήσει και να μας βοηθήσει. Το σπίτι είναι εξοπλισμένο με σχεδόν τα πάντα, παραπάνω από όσα χρειάζεσαι και βρίσκεται σε κεντρικό σημείο στην πόλη. Σίγουρα θα το προτιμήσουμε και στην επόμενη επίσκεψη μας.

I loved how clean, comfortable, and well-equipped the property was,it made the stay feel relaxing from the moment we arrived. The location was also perfect, with easy access to everything we wanted while still being peaceful and quiet. Our hostess was perfect,warm, attentive, and welcoming from the start, always helpful while respecting our privacy.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like, everything exceeded our expectations and made for a perfect stay.

Ο χώρος με το που μπήκαμε μας εντυπωσίασε πολύ καθώς το σαλόνι μαζι με το μπαλκόνι, μας ενθουσίασε σε μεγαλο βαθμό. Το υπνοδωμάτιο ήταν πολυ ευχάριστο, το κρεβάτι πολυ άνετο και η προσθήκη της τηλεόρασης στο δωμάτιο το έκανε ακομα καλύτερο. Το μπανιο ηταν ευρύχωρο και μας άρεσε το γεγονός οτι υπήρξε πλυντήριο ρούχων , το οποίο και χρησιμοποιήσαμε. Τέλος ο χώρος της κουζίνας, πολυ φωτεινός και μας πρόσφεραν διάφορα μπισκότα , σνακ και σπιτικό λιμοντσέλο που ήμαστε πολυ ευγνώμων γιαυτό. Το διαμέρισμα επίσης είχε πολύ γρήγορο WiFi και μας έδωσαν ένα φυλλάδιο το οποίο έγραφε τι αξιοθέατα και εστιατόρια μπορει κάποιος να επισκεφθεί στη πόλη της Καστοριάς.

Όλα ήταν καταπληκτικά δεν υπήρξε κατι που δεν μας άρεσε. Πραγματικά εξαιρετικό.
