Constable Cottage is quiet, cosy & homely.
The bedroom doors were a bit daunting to close fully. The door knobs being a bit loose we were concerned we wouldn't be able to open them once closed but didn't distract from our overall stay.

Stone walls & timber floors & windows in an historic cottage. We loved the place as soon as we walked in. Super comfortable beds with crisp white linen & a generous number of towels & well stocked kitchen.

the location near the train station was ideal for our rail trip. The beds were super comfy.
The uneven footpath access. The general stove in the kitchen was old and not ameniable to use, underneath the sofas and the cushions there was a lot of debris. The exhaust fan in the kitchen roof was filthy. The electrical items had lots of cord connectors and the electrical safety switch tripped when all electric heaters turned on.
