The Beardman Armidale

This is a comfortable and well set-up house and impeccably clean. The hosts were easy to talk to and had everything set up so that arrival was straightforward. The bed was super cosy, with plenty of good pillows and bedding and for me, a very comfortable mattress. There is good heating and block-out blinds in the main bedroom where I slept. The bathroom appears newly renovated and has a good shower (no bath), and the house has a full kitchen and laundry, which would make make it comfortable for longer stays. The house is a fairly straightforward walk, or very short drive, to the CBD and shops, cafes and restaurants.

There is off-road parking behind the property, which is good. However, you need to first park outside, somewhere in the lane, open the gate, drive into the yard and close the gate again, so this can be a little inconvenient. It won't be enough to deter me from re-booking though, as this is a great place to stay, and this small inconvenience is manageable for me.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable

We loved our stay at the Beardman! The house feels cosy and inviting. The electric blankets were so good, and we loved the living area. Dave and Bec went out of their way to assist in making our stay comfortable. We will be back! Thanks!

We loved our stay here. Nothing negative about the property or hosts! A few areas of the kitchen could do with a deeper clean but other than that it’s absolutely great.
