Soul - Oceanfront Jungle Loft

The views were incredible! From lying in the hammock or relaxing in the loft bed. The property was at a quiet end of the beach which made it feel remote and private.

Beachfront property away from the noise of the village, yet within a quick drive or longer walk. The place is clean, tidy and comfortable. The drying rack provided was very useful! Staff was nice and responsive. We very much enjoyed hanging out on the hammock and the swing, watching the birds in the trees and the waves crashing in.

The hand towel should be larger (it was a face cloth) and could use a hook on the wall.

The place was very clean upon our arrival. It’s in good condition, in general, no mold in the bathroom. They provided shampoo, shower gel, dishwasher soap, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, beach towels. It’s a nice place, very quiet, no people around. If you are lucky you will have a chance to see big green iguanas.

We booked the house for 7 nights but left one night earlier as it was very uncomfortable for us. We are a family of 3, and although the house is supposed to accommodate 3 people, it is absolutely uncomfortable for anyone but couples or singles. For example, 2 chairs and 2 plates suggested us to have breakfast in turns. WiFi is very unstable, sometimes it was not there for hours. Reboot didn’t work. Keep that in mind if you need it for work. There is a trash box behind the house, and on the 5th day it was full and attracted a lot of flies, also coming inside the house. On the 3d day the towels were stinking, the bed linen was dirty, and the bathroom was full of little flies because of the humidity. I understand this is not a hotel with a daily room service but considering the humidity and the sand that is everywhere it would be nice to bring some fresh towels and bed linen for the people staying more than three nights. In the very first evening, we were away for the dinner, and somebody was at the property, stole the hammock hanging in front of our house and moved our personal stuff. I’m not that mindful yoga person coming anywhere to think about the meaning of my life, I just want to have some comfort to relax. Instead I have to think about my family’s basic safety. There is a nice terrace with a beautiful view in every house but what should I do with it if there’re no chairs, and my only hammock is stolen? The contact person promised to bring a new hammock but never did it, so we took one from a neighbour house as nobody was living there. I could make a long list of all the things but let’s just sum up that it’s a place made by instagram people for instagram people, totally uncomfortable for the real life. Physical comfort is a subjective thing but safety and security are not. I would recommend for the owners to install some security cameras.
