Tonbridge House

Brilliant property in a quiet area. Hard to believe that King’s Cross station is only around the corner. Owner was speedy to reply to messages. Great communication beforehand and easy to gain entry. All apps available on the TV and brilliant broadband.

Bed was hard as a rock.

Flat has one bedroom with a double bed, it was nice and comfortable. In the living room there are 2 sofas, but only one of them can be used as a bed (the smaller black one, the brown one cannot be made a bed). Black sofa is too small for 2 adults to sleep there comfortably. Flat is well equipped - coffee maker, water filtration, kettle, kitchen stuff, etc. Location is great, a couple minutes walk from the station. It was quiet at night. So basically a great place to stay for a couple (price/quality), but not comfortable for more people.

-black sofa that is intended to be a bed for 2 people is too small and uncomfortable -no contact with the host regarding check in before arrival - we received the details of check in only a couple HOURS before our arrival. Also the host did not provide the apartment number. We had to try to contact him with keys in hand. Fortunately we were there early and managed to contact him. -not enough towels for 4 persons -feels dusty

Schönes Gebäude in toller Lage. Das Apartment ist an sich schön und hat eine gute Größe. Auf Nachfragen hat der Vermieter schnell reagiert.

Die Kommunikation war mittelmäßig: Informationen zum Check-In habe ich erst auf Nachfrage erhalten, als ich schon vor der Unterkunft stand. Das Zimmer ist nicht für 4 Personen geeignet, das Schlafsofa ist nicht besonders bequem und zu klein für 2. Zunächst waren nicht genug Handtücher und Bettzeug bereitgelegt (diese waren aber auf Nachfrage vorhanden). Es gibt zwar eine Mikrowelle, aber kein mikrowellengeeignetes Geschirr. Es gab keine Geschirrhandtücher. Der Teppich war etwas muffig. Der Ablauf war sehr unpersönlich, Check-In erfolgt über eine Schlüsselbox und ich weiß nicht, wer hinter der Vermietung steht.
