Apartment in Kulai Bandar Putra

Like the location besides the mall and nearby shops. The security guard is helpful. Apartment is spacious enough for 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids), windy, cooling weather during our stay, good view, got swimming pool for kids, got good selection of tv shows and movies in house for the family to watch, can hang clothes, enough siitting chairs. Quiet environment, got privacy. Overall, we like the stay.

Property owner didn't inform the designated parking lot in advance. We need to ask. Parking at basement is complicated and narrow. Need some skill to drive as turning is very narrow. The mailbox that is used to get and return the access card and keys can't be lock, the code lock is spoilt. Main door digital lock is not working but luckily got key and pad lock for the grill outside maindoor. Property owner is responsive, promised to repair these and the leaking water tap in toilet. Hope to see it repaired if the next time we go.

Self collect key, and the host did not ask for a deposit payment. A mall was just next to it, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. We chose this area because we wanted to stay somewhere not too far from the airport. By car, it took around 15 minutes in the morning, and it was Saturday.

Apparently, no one was assigned to help us enter the building to access the mailbox where the keys were kept. They made it clear that the security guard will not be able to help us either. We were told to wait until someone with access happened to enter the lift lobby, so we ended up waiting around 10–15 minutes. It made us feel a bit sad and unwelcome. Thankfully, it wasn’t raining at the time. The mailbox’s security lock was also broken and could be pulled off easily. We were worried at first because we thought we might have damaged it. But it seems like it had already been that way from the start. The host also did not mention anything about an allocated parking spot for the unit. The security guard informed us that there was one, so we parked our car there. When we entered the unit, there was a noticeable old-house odor. Perhaps an air freshener could help improve this. There was also no iron provided. While this may not be essential for everyone, some guests may be staying for a convocation or event and would need to iron their clothes. Communication platform was through the Booking.com app. It was a bit inconvenient as the response was not that fast, and I have to keep checking the app for response. However, I appreciate that the host replied to my messages even in the evening.

It was very near the mall and the common area was spacious.

I did not like the bathroom and provided towels.
