About this house rental
A three-bedroom rowhouse in Columbia Heights that sleeps ten on real beds, about ten minutes` walk from the Metro.
Most three-bedrooms in this neighborhood sleep six. This one is built for a group, and nobody ends up on a camp bed: a king in the primary with its own ensuite and a desk, a queen in the second, and a queen bunk with a queen on top in the third. A pull-out sofa bed in that third bedroom brings it to ten, with a queen air mattress if you need one more. Two full bathrooms plus a half bath on the main floor mean everyone gets out the door in the morning.
THE SPACE
- Primary: king bed, ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, desk and ergonomic chair
- Bedroom 2: queen bed and closet
- Bedroom 3: queen bunk with a queen on top, plus a pull-out sofa bed
- Living room: large TV, board games and books
- Kitchen: stainless appliances and dishwasher, plus a second kitchenette for coffee and lighter prep
- Dining table seats six
- In-unit washer and dryer with detergent, central heat and air, fast wifi throughout
- Fully fenced backyard
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Columbia Heights Metro (Green and Yellow lines) is about ten minutes on foot and runs to the National Mall and downtown with no changes. A full-size Giant and a Target are at the station. Meridian Hill Park is ten minutes south and the 14th Street restaurants are a few blocks over.
WORTH KNOWING
Self check-in with a smart lock. There is no driveway or garage at the property. The block is permit zoned, so if you are driving, message us a few days ahead and we will send the steps to request a visitor parking permit. Paid garage parking is about a nine minute walk away.

No Big Events: Please refrain from hosting large gatherings or parties on the premises. Our home is intended for personal use.
No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property.
No Pets: We have a no-pet policy to accommodate guests with allergies and to maintain a clean environment. We appreciate your understanding.
Quiet Hours: To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and our neighbors, we kindly request that you keep noise levels to a minimum after 10:00 PM.

The house was very clean and spacious! We had everything we needed to feelComfortable and at home. We were in town for my son’s master’s degree graduation from American University and it was close to everything we needed! Host was responsive to any questions.
