There is a full, shared bathroom. The elevated terrace has a bench, a lounge chair, and hammocks, offering unique views of the forest. It’s perfect for reconnecting with yourself and enjoying your privacy. Access to La Terraza Acapulco (shared with other guests), featuring a natural lagoon, a palapa with a kitchen, dining room, living room, and a solarium with a hot tub—all part of a 100% sustainable experience.

This facility features a palapa equipped with a kitchen, dining room, living room, sun deck with lounge chairs, a hot tub, and a natural lagoon serving as a swimming pool, as well as a fire pit area.
Guests have full access to all facilities, furnishings, and amenities within El Vagón, allowing them to enjoy the independence and comfort of feeling right at home. Everything is designed to facilitate a relaxed, pleasant experience that invites you to take a deep breath and reconnect with your true self.
To encourage this rest, there is no television. Although the property has cellular internet coverage, Wi-Fi is available only at a central hub. No signal boosters have been installed, encouraging travelers to disconnect from the pressures of technology, the digital world, and urban life.
Before, during, and after your stay, the host will be attentive to your reservation and experience, ensuring that everything is satisfactory. In addition, a manager will be available on the property at all times to ensure safety and the proper functioning of services.
Additional services, such as firewood, heating the hot tub, extra cleaning, or meal preparation, are available for an additional fee. These must be requested in advance and will be arranged so that everything is ready upon your arrival.
If there are other guests, schedules for the use of common areas will be coordinated to ensure respectful and harmonious coexistence. Our goal is to offer a comfortable, efficient, and hassle-free stay.

Its design integrates sustainability, aesthetics, and functionality, in harmony with the mountains of Acatitlán. Each space connects visitors with their surroundings, utilizing traditional materials and techniques reflected in the floors, stucco walls, ceilings, frames, and wrought-iron and wooden doors and windows, all crafted by artists and artisans. The interior is adorned with art pieces selected to enrich the cultural experience of the space.
Sustainability is reinforced through the Energy Center, a 100% sustainable system that provides essential utilities. This center collects rainwater and processes it through a biological treatment plant, regenerating and purifying wastewater for reuse. In addition, it generates 100% of its electricity through solar power and features a backup generator and voltage regulator, ensuring self-sufficiency and respect for the environment.
El Vagón is not just a place to stay, but a timeless habitat that invites guests to respect and appreciate the art, architecture, and natural beauty that surround it. Guests are asked to take care of every corner of the property—including the artwork, proper waste management, and responsible energy use—as outlined in the house manual, to preserve its beauty and authenticity for future generations.

Permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Please use the provided ashtrays and keep the areas clean.
3. Care of Art, Furniture, and Surfaces:
The art pieces have been carefully selected and must remain untouched. Moving them or leaning on them is prohibited.
Furniture must be handled with care to avoid scratching surfaces or damaging floors. Avoid spilling liquids or foods that may stain (wine, coffee, juices, oils, etc.). Do not place hot objects directly on wood. Do not drag furniture. If you need to move them, do so carefully.
Any damage will be assessed and charged based on the item’s market value and the cost of restoration or replacement.
4. Gatherings:
Gatherings are permitted provided that quiet hours (12:00 AM – 7:00 AM) and the balance of the natural environment are respected.
5. Waste:
Bathroom: Do not flush paper, sanitary napkins, or other objects down the toilet to preserve the biological wastewater treatment system.
Kitchen: Sort waste into the designated bins (organic and inorganic). Organic waste is composted.
6. Pets:
Only small-breed dogs weighing up to 10 kg are allowed. You must disclose the presence of a pet when making your reservation.
Responsibilities:
• Supervision: Pets must be supervised at all times and are not allowed on furniture or beds.
• Supplies: Bring a bed, food bowl, water bowl, and waste bags.
• Cleanliness: Keep the property free of pet hair and pick up solid waste.
• Damage: Any damage caused (bites, scratches, stains, destruction) will be the guest’s responsibility and must be covered immediately.
Considerations:
• Restricted Areas: Pets are not allowed in other properties or in areas outside the reserved accommodation.
• Common Areas: Pets may only be present under constant supervision and must not cause a disturbance.
• Noise: Excessive barking or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
7. Exclusive Use for Registered Guests:
The property is rented solely to the guests listed in the reservation. You may not invite outside guests or host events that exceed the published maximum capacity.

Access to areas such as La Terraza Acapulco, gardens, and forest terraces is permitted. Please use them respectfully, keeping them tidy and clean.
9. Property Handover and Inspection:
To ensure a transparent experience, a handover and inspection process will be conducted upon check-in and check-out.
Upon arrival, the manager will hand over the space, including a general inspection of the furniture, artwork, rooms, and common areas.
During your stay, staff will be present to provide support and general supervision, without interfering with guests’ privacy.
At the end of your stay, a joint inspection will be conducted. If any damage is detected, a report will be filed with photographic evidence.
The cash guarantee or security deposit will be refunded in full if there is no damage. Otherwise, the corresponding amount will be deducted, and if the damage exceeds the security deposit, an estimate will be provided, which the guest must pay within seven days.
