Tranquille Haven - serene escape in Franschhoek

What a stunning property. There is such attention to detail, such style and such amazing use of the space. Everything has been so carefully thought out, with many personal touches and the decor is gorgeous. It is very chic. There are also fabulous views of the mountains. Karin is a fantastic host who made us feel right at home....we will definitely be back.

Warme ontvangst, waanzinnig verblijf! Fijne houtkachel binnen en echt alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Een mandje gevuld voor zoonlief, van alles beschikbaar in de keuken. Fijne bedden en badkamers, de luxe van een privé zwembad. Goed advies voor een restaurant en de andere avond lekker zelf gekookt, de bbq aangestoken en onverwacht voorzien van een heerlijke pompoensoep door Karin gemaakt. Echt top en nogmaals dank🫶💯

From the moment we arrived, Karin made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm hospitality and thoughtful attention to every detail. The accommodation is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Every room reflects quality and comfort, while the small personal touches made our stay feel truly special. The peaceful setting, private splash pool, and stunning mountain views created the perfect place to relax after exploring Franschhoek. The location is ideal—quiet and tranquil, yet only a short walk from the restaurants, shops, and wine tram. It was the perfect base for our family holiday. Without a doubt, this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. We highly recommend Tranquille Haven to anyone visiting Franschhoek and will definitely be returning. What a fantastic place to stay! The location is perfect, close to the city center yet wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The property is beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail that makes it feel both stylish and welcoming. The owner, who lives next door, is truly an exceptional person: warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. Her hospitality made our stay even more special. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and would happily stay here again!
