The Witch City Hideout - Salem 3 Bedroom with Gameroom, Balcony & Free Parking

We loved the living space. The beds were extremely comfortable! We loved the fact that we each had our own bedroom! The area was very quiet and the parking was excellent! The area seemed very safe and close to everything. My friends and I enjoyed the area and it was nice to come back to a safe space in a strange town. The physical property manager and his family were very helpful and friendly. The digital manager was also very friendly and answered text msgs. and phone calls. The game room was a nice extra touch.

We arrived around 9:30 pm and had difficulty with the lock box. The hall lights were out and we had to use our cell phones to see the numbers. We were unfamiliar with how to open the box after we put in the code. After several tries we finally were able to open it. There were two standing air units, one in the dining area and one in the living room, but there were fans in each bedroom. If it had been very warm they would not have cooled off the rooms at night and would have been uncomfortable. Luckily, this only occurred once during our stay.

Great location supper clean and the owners are amazing.

Location, size, and provided amenities such as the mini pool/ping pong table.

Rooms are very warm; They need window shakers, honestly. Also, they controlled the portable AC with wifi plugs.....very not cool to have them shut off at night automatically. I was up from overheating a lot.

The property was in a good location

On our way to the property (after driving 8+ hours) the property manager proceeded to text us to see if we could arrive at 4:30pm when check in time was 3:00pm. (No offer of a reimbursement for the time difference) He mentioned that the cleaning crew was down a person due to an injury. Unfortunately we could arrive at a later check in time. We all agreed to arrive as planned at 3:00pm. The property manager said he would make sure to tell the cleaning person to have it ready at 3:00pm. Upon arrival the cleaning person was still there and said they needed 15 more minutes because she was stuck in traffic and couldn’t get done at 3:00pm.. fine.. nothing we can do at this point. We take a walk to give more time. 3:15pm the place is still not ready. The property manager finally texts and says it’s ready around 3:50pm. The second issue is the AC unit is window air and is also can be controlled by someone else who is connected to the WiFi app can shut the air off. Which someone did at 3:00AM. The night before we have to leave the property manager texts us again asking what time we will be leaving in the mowing because they needed to decorate for Halloween. Although he said we didn’t have to rush out of there in the morning. It was an awkward situation and made us feel rushed anyways. When you book a hotel or bnb you expect to pay for the time from 3:00 pm check until 11:00am check out time. Our time what cut short.
