On the Tiber- Luxury house

Overall, we had a good experience staying in this apartment. It is modern, comfortable and quite conveniently located. Two of the three rooms have air conditioning, which was a huge advantage during the hot summer days in Rome. There are also TVs in two rooms, and the Wi-Fi worked very well throughout our stay. The apartment is quiet, and the windows provide very good sound insulation. The location is convenient as well: it takes approximately 30 minutes to walk to the city centre, and there is a supermarket about 7–10 minutes away on foot. For those travelling by car, it is possible to park directly across from the building in the paid street parking spaces, which was very convenient for us. The kitchen is generally well equipped for cooking, with pots, plates, cutlery and other basic kitchen utensils provided.

The main area that could be improved is cleanliness. There were black marks around the bathtub that looked like mould or mildew. Some of the kitchenware did not seem to have been cleaned thoroughly either. We found some dirty glasses, and the cutlery tray itself had old stains and could definitely use a proper cleaning. The refrigerator could also have been cleaned more thoroughly. A few small additions would make the apartment much more comfortable for guests. For example, there was no kitchen towel, so there was nothing to dry our hands with in the kitchen. A couple of small packets of sugar would also be a nice touch. These are inexpensive little things, but they make a difference, especially when guests have just arrived. We were at least lucky that some salt had been left behind, so we could use it when cooking. One important tip for future guests: although a coffee machine is listed among the apartment’s amenities on Booking.com, no coffee capsules are provided — not even one or two for guests to have a coffee upon arrival. We were quite disappointed to discover this after our journey. The listing also does not specify the type or model of the coffee machine, so there is no way to know in advance which capsules to buy. I think either providing a couple of capsules as a welcome gesture or simply specifying the type of machine in the description would solve this issue very easily. There were also no garbage bags provided in the apartment. As a result, when we left, we unfortunately had to leave some of our rubbish behind because we had no suitable bags in which to take it out.

Super leuke wijk en dicht bij het station Trastevere. Vanaf deze wijk is alles mooi te bekijken. Groot appartement met alle luxe en lekkere bedden!
