About this apartment rental

The space
Apartment with two bedrooms, a living room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen and two bathrooms complete with large shower.
On request it is possible to add a single bed to be placed in one of the two double bedrooms.
On request a cot, a high chair and a changing table for newborns are available.
The apartment was renovated in September 2024 and brought to light the original vaulted ceiling of the time. Finished in detail and furnished to create a suggestive atmosphere.
Includes independent heating, air conditioning in all rooms, high-speed wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine.

The external courtyard, which reflects the popular soul of Rome, is complete with benches to relax. Here you can breathe the air of Romanity.
The courtyard and the apartments are often used as a film location. Several films have been shot: Coltellesi: "Ther'is still tomorrow"; Ozpetek: "Diamonds"; Villaggio: "Fantozzi contro tutti"....

This Testaccio was the area of the Emporium of ancient Rome, where a few steps away, on the Tiber River, stood the Porto di Ripa Grande and the Via del Marmo (Via Marmorata) at the foot of the Aventine Hill, at the top of which you can enjoy one of the most suggestive views of Rome (from the Orange Garden), not to mention the exciting view of the Dome of St. Peter's Basilica from the Keyhole of the Priory of the Knights of Malta.

The property was very very nice. It looks out over the courtyard. Well equipped with everything we needed. The area is fantastic. Very local people. Not touristy area. We went every morning to the market. It is only a block away and has alot of vendors, amazing food and coffee. We were able to walk everywhere. I would have loved to stay there for a month if I could. Lastly I was very impressed with our host. They gave us great suggestions on where to eat and places to see. Highly recommend!

As the name implies, this apartment evokes all the charm and vibes of authentic Rome. Testaccio is a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience the real Rome. And has a home base, this apartment has everything you’ll want. It’s clean, comfortable, and the location can’t be beat. To top it all off, Nicola is a most gracious and personable host. I can’t wait to return!
