Calm Corner

The host was very considerate, highly responsive, and communicated effectively with us throughout our stay. The check-in and direction instructions were incredibly easy to follow, and the property itself has a very cozy, homely layout.

While we truly appreciated how thoughtful the host was, our stay fell short due to some housekeeping oversights. The property has strict rules about keeping things clean, which felt a bit stressful for us since we were travelling with a toddler. It was disheartening because the turnaround cleaning seemed incomplete, the area underneath the bed clearly indicated it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest. However, we wish the property all the best and hope these cleaning standards can be improved for future guests, as it really has great potential.

My stay at Calm Corner Guest House was truly wonderful. The place lives up to its name-peaceful, comfortable, and perfectly welcoming. A special mention goes to the host, Mr. Khoza, who is an exceptional person. He constantly checks in on his guests, responds quickly to any requests, and always makes sure that everything is taken care of. His kindness and dedication make a huge difference, and we honestly need more people like him in the accommodation industry. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!
