Welcome to Beach Bum in Crystal Beach, Texas — it`s always a great day to be at the beach! This family-owned four-bedroom, two-bathroom Gulf Coast vacation home sleeps 14 guests, sits a short walk from the water, and is fully set up for families, large groups, and pet owners who want space, comfort, and direct beach access near Galveston.

The Home — 4 Bedrooms | 2 Full Baths | Sleeps 14
Two king bedrooms and a full bath sit on the right side of the home. Two bunk bedrooms and a full bath sit on the left. Sleeping includes two king beds, a queen-over-queen bunk bed, a full-over-full bunk bed, a twin daybed, and a twin trundle — perfect for families with kids. All beds are made before you arrive with fresh linens. The bedrooms have room-darkening shades for a restful night of sleep.

Walk to the Crystal Beach Shoreline
The beach is a short walk from the entrance door — the walkover is just past Barbados Street. Crystal Beach is a wide, drive-on, family-friendly Texas Gulf Coast shoreline with flat sand and shallow water ideal for young children. Golf cart beach access and car-to-beach access are both nearby.

Pet-Friendly Fenced Back Yard and Outdoor Living
Pets and kids are welcome in the fully fenced backyard, which features a custom play set with two swings, a slide, and a fort. The covered under-house gathering area is built for group entertaining — a food prep and cooking counter with bar seating for 6, two tables, a charcoal grill, and a bar overlooking the play area. The back covered deck overlooks the yard with loungers, a dining set, and high-back chairs. The front uncovered deck is off one of the king bedrooms. An enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water handles beach rinse-off before coming upstairs.

Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen has an electric range and oven, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, and a K-cup brewer. The island seats 10 and the dining table seats 4 — the whole group eats together.

The free Bolivar Ferry is a short drive and connects Crystal Beach directly to Galveston Island — Galveston Historic Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park, the Seawall, shopping, and dining are all within easy reach. Crystal Beach itself offers surf fishing, bay fishing, deep-sea charters, golf cart rentals, miniature golf, parasailing, bird watching, and a public fitness center.

HOUSE RULES
Please read before booking. By reserving this property, you agree to all house rules
below.
1. The Primary Renter must be 25 years of age or older and must be
present for the entire duration of the stay.
2. Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. The number of guests may
not exceed the maximum listed for this property at any time.
3. No parties, events, or gatherings that exceed the listed maximum
occupancy. Unauthorized gatherings will result in immediate removal
without refund.
4. No smoking of any kind inside the home. Outdoor smoking only. A
$300 smoking fee will be charged if evidence of indoor smoking is found.
5. Adult pets are welcome with prior approval - no pets under a year, and pets must be house-broken. Dogs of any size are welcome. Maximum 4 adult pets. The pet fee is $100 per stay for up to 2 pets, plus $50 per pet for up to 2 more. The back yard is fenced on all sides with a latching gate, so your dog can go out the door and into the yard. Pets stay off all furniture and beds - please bring your own sheets or blankets to cover anything your pet will be on. Clean up after your pets inside and out, and keep them supervised. Undisclosed pets will result in additional fees, and a $150 fee applies if the pet rules are not followed. Trained service animals as defined by the ADA are exempt from the pet fee; emotional support, comfort, and therapy animals are treated the same as pets.

6. Check-in is at 4:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in
and late check-out are not guaranteed — please request in advance.
7. Do NOT turn off the ceiling fans, air conditioning, heat, or
dehumidifiers at checkout. Leave all running when you leave.
8. Before checkout: start the dishwasher, start a load of towels in the
washer, remove all food from the refrigerator, and take all trash to the
outdoor cans.
9. No oil, grease, or slimy substances may be poured down any drain.
This damages the sewer pumps and will result in a repair and cleaning
fee.
10.No interior furniture, bedding, pillows, linens, towels, or home
items may be taken outside under any circumstances.
11.Charcoal grills are provided for use on the property only. Grills may
not be taken to the beach or removed from the property.
12.Parking is limited to the designated spaces for this property.
Street parking and blocking neighboring driveways is not permitted.
13.Noise must be kept at a reasonable level at all times out of respect
for neighbors and the surrounding community.
14.Guests are responsible for any damage caused during the stay. An
additional cleaning or damage fee may be assessed if the property is left
in unsatisfactory condition.
15.This is a privately owned family vacation home. Please treat it with
care and respect.
